Ocean Bank Appoints Douglas Halliday to Manage Downtown Miami Branch

MIAMI – Apr. 19, 2022 – Ocean Bank appointed career banker, Douglas Halliday, as a Vice President to manage the Downtown Miami branch, located at 165 SE 1st St.

Halliday has more than 18 years of banking experience. He began his career as a financial advisor, personal banker, private client banker, and investment consultant. Halliday joined Ocean Bank in January of 2020 as a Vice President and Relationship Manager in the Wealth Management Division and will now manage the Downtown Miami branch.

“We welcome Douglas to his new role as branch manager,” said Pedro Max, Executive Vice President and Head of the Branch network. “His experience in different areas of banking makes him a valuable asset to the Downtown Miami location.”

Halliday earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Florida International University and is a certified financial planner. He is involved in food donation programs throughout the year with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce at the Mater Center, where he helps low-income families.
